The music in this game is quite noticeable it changes from place to place as it can be very peaceful but can change abruptly to something faster paced and louder. So throughout the whole game you have 29 tracks which is quite a variation compared to most games even in more present games.

Sound Effects Used:
The sound effects included in this game are amazing for a game that wasn’t that popular and hadn’t much support behind it. Most of the sound effects that are in this game are from weapons or from explosions. Each weapon has its own different unique sound which is completely different compared to the others you have. Although there are new sound effects incorporated within this game if you have ever played "Jak 2" its predecessor you will notice there are some old ones too for example when driving a hover car you hear the engine start up with a slight stalling sound or the usual grunts of the charcter after punching or kicking someone.
What do the music and effects add:
Thankfully the way that the music and sound effects have been done arent too serious. The reason why i think this is a good thing is because this game was aimed at a much younger audience but can still be enjoyed by those of an older age. The music can make you feel relaxed an example would be when you are strolling through the street minding your own business which turns the music slowly paced and at a low volume however this can quickly change if at any point you have commited an offense in the game such as hitting a pedastrian or an imperial guard which will cause the music to turn quickly to a fast paced and loud. Each piece of music has a way of being able to captivate the player without them being distracted from the actual game play. I think the sounds add a fun factor as they are lively and upbeat.

From this type of music you are able to tell that with the fast pace and cleverly usage of not only one instrument that this track was meant to add to the players excitement and to keep them immersed within the game.

The use of drums for this certain piece of work is simply used but effective in that you can feel that there has been a change in the air and that something serious is about to happen.

Below you will hear but a few of the sound effects that are within this game and if this type of game was compared with something like Black Ops you can tell it is less grounded but that is what people want sometimes, to just get lost in a world unlike their own in almost every conceivable way and I personally think the sound effects contribute to this.
